The UAE is currently undergoing a clean-up operation after heavy rainfall and storms swept through the country over the past two days. Lorries have been clearing flooded roads, and emergency response teams have been working to manage the situations.

In response to the weather conditions, some nurseries, schools, and universities in Dubai have been offered the option to implement remote learning on Monday if damage to buildings from the weekend weather is too severe to fix before pupils return. This measure is aimed at ensuring the safety of both staff and students.
